My girls~ Krisztina & Melina

A Merry Christmas

Our family spent the holidays with grammy & Papa at their condo in Pensacola. We are having a great time visiting and just being together! I have the best family and it is such a joy to be a part of these most amazing group of people!

We will be here at the beach while we ring in the new year! ( We are hoping for the weather to be alittle warmer so we can go play at the beach )

It is my prayer that everyone has the most joyous & healthy new year!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I am so sorry that I have neglected this blog for so long! But No more!

Happy Holidays to everyone!

We are happily getting ready for Santa and Christmas. The girls are very excited this year and are forever asking me how many days til Christmas!

We will be spending the holiday and New Year in Pensacola Beach with my momma and dad and are looking forward to some good times with family traveling from far and wide to visit granny and Papa. Krissy,Leeni and myself will be leaving a few days earlier to spend some extra time at the condo before the crowd joins us on Christmas Eve! ( I don't care how old you are, you are never to young to want your momma and I am certainly no exception!)

I have started doing a farmers market/arts and crafts fair on Saturdays here in Jacksonville. Sales are slow but steady and I have been a few good contacts.

I still have my Etsy shop and after a few minor changes in a few items, I am happy to see sales growing there as well. My hope for Bead Creations By Dawn for the upcoming year is that start making more of a profit. My dream would be is that a shop owner would discover my designs and want to feature them in their shop! Well, I will keep dreaming and keep striving for that goal.

My beaded Hair clips are my newest item on my Etsy shop as well as at the arts market. They are doing in each venue and I plan to continue making them! Check them out !

Here is a photo of the girls after we put up the tree. Brother said I should have cleaned up Leenis face before I took the picture! ( Leeni loves chocolate pudding)

Have a most blessed Christmas and a most wonderful new year!

Leave me a note and tell me what you think of my blog!

Here a just a few of the pictures we took this weekend!

I wish him all the blessings as he makes his way through life. He lives Back in Ohio an and am sad that I didn't get to see him on his birthdy. I miss him terribly... :(

Krissy and Leeni have been getting ready for their ballet recital~ they really love to ballet and it is so cute watching them. Today they recieved their recital tutu's and the girls will look like little princess'. We are planning to have a big cookout with family and friends after the recital to celebrate.

I am really excited about sharing Bead For Life with you!
I cannot remember how I first learned of Bead For Life and the colorful, paper beads the women of Uganda make by hand. Bead For Life employs poor, Ugandan women and puts them to work by making and selling these fanastic beads.

I feel very honored to be able to help these women by purchasing their beads, which helps them and their families end the circle of poverty. So for this reason, I wear the beads proudly.

Want to learn more about Bead for Life and how you can help?

Would you like me to design something for you using these paper beads?? Please contact me at: dawnsabo2604@yahoo.com

God Bless!

Sick, Sick, Sickness Go Away!!!

This has been just a rough couple months for my family. We have all suffered through an endless stream of flu, viral infections (in which our Leeni ended up in a hospital stay at Children's Hospital) and now we suffer with bad colds and coughs! When will it end?? Not soon enough for us!!

Here is a picture of our girls enjoying kite flying before the sickness came! We had fun that day with the neighbors running home to get their kites to fly!!

My beautiful little daughter who has been so sick and had ended up int he hospital hooked up to an IV, is home and on her way back to a full recovery!!  And boy is she full of energy!!!

Now that my Leeni is feeling better, I can get back on track with my jewelry and add a few new things to my shop.I have been getting a few more orders, which excites me greatly and encourages me to create more new designs. I am looking forward to  creating a spring line with bright colors, new patterns and cool unique beads! I love spring and hope my customers will too!

Any day your child is sick is a difficult day~

Leeni (Melina) woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and in the morning, Leeni was burning up wit ha high fever around 103. I waited til noon to see if it would go away, but sadly,I took her to the doctor.
As I drive her to the doctor, she sits quietly and no one talks as we drive the long two miles to the office. (Please remind me someday of how good it is to hear two five year old girls giggling and chatting way to loud in the backseat!)

We get to the docs office and we find that Leeni has a bad infection in her throat and ears that is causing the fever and vomiting~ We leave on the way to the store for some meds to cheer up a sick Leeni~

I pray that our little Leeni will wake up tomorrow her old self~ Pray for sick children everywhere~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a much lighter note, I have been designing something special for a fellow "Estian"~ (Hi Reeze!) I have completed it and want to proudly show it off~ She liked it so much as well as the bracelet and earrings I made to match! I love the bright colors and the look of spring and summer~What fun it will be for her to wear it!!!
Today is about ... twins & Carnelian
My Greatest joy in my life has definitly been my kids. Even though being a mom, especially to twins has been the hardest thing that I have ever done, a day does not go by that they don't amaze and fill me with pride and happines.
Here is a picture of my twin daughters, Krisztina and Melina.They have just turned five and are now changing from toddlers to "grown up girls"~ They both love puppies, horses, playing with their babies and all that is a girl. But on the other hand, they love frogs, bugs, lizards and other creatures too.
They have a big brother too, who came to visit them for the past week and the girls totally love and adore him.
Today, I posted a beautiful Carnelian bead bracelet on my Etsy site. Carnelian is one of my favorite gemstones and the hues are of a orange to browns. Take a look for yourslef and let me know what you think.
